My Praise This Christmas…
”In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God; and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only son from the Father. (John 1:1, 14)
Gracious Father…
I am in awe of You again this Christmas! Jesus, You existed in eternity yet became one of us! I can’t comprehend Your unique conception in Mary’s womb, Your unique identity as the Son of the Most High yet fully human. Such knowledge is too wonderful!
I take these moments to pray that the familiar Christmas story and miracle of the Incarnation does not become common place; but indeed, becomes a new wonder and mystery in my faith! Help me bow down and worship You in new ways this Christmas!
Thank You for being Lord at Your birth. Thank You for being my Lord! You’ve got the whole world in Your hands, and that includes my world, my troubles, my concerns. I declare Your peace over anything that troubles me.
As You guided and protected Mary and Joseph, You guide and protect us! We praise You in advance for Your steadfast care, provision, and presence. Nothing is impossible for You!
Blessings,
Pastor Ross
