September 2nd, 2024 Coffee Break
”I sought the Lord, and he answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.” Psalm 34:4
Gracious Lord, You offer me Your unending listening ear and time. You want to spend more time with me than I desire to spend with You. But here I am. . .seeking You, placing my anxieties, burdens, and joys before You. I confess that You care more about the details of my life more than I do. . .especially the things, I fear. So, thank you for this promise that You deliver me from fears. . .all of them.
Thank you for answers to prayers that I either take for granted, don’t see, or are forthcoming. You delight to answer my prayers in far better ways that I could imagine. But today I seek You for You. . .not just for the blessings of Your hand. I am never disappointed in You, placing my trust in You, and like David, expressing my joy in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
